BABY ACNe??? MY 2 weeks old baby has been developing a lot of acne on his cheeks and forehead. Sometimes it looks lesser sometimes more. Does anybody know any home remedies for it ???

Baby acne? My daughter is almost five months old and ever since she was born she's had baby acne. Just a few little zits that go away and new ones spring up elsewhere. It's not because she's unclean (she's bathed every other day) and it's not because she's washed too much and her skin is getting irritated (I've tried spreading out the baths and also giving her one everyday to see if it would help), but they just won't go away! I know they can't feel good, and I don't want her accidentally scratching one and scarring herself. How can I get rid of it? I said something to her pediatrician about it, but she ignored it. She's not allergic to any of the soaps because it's only on her little face (only cheeks and chin, really). If she were allergic, she would react everywhere. It shows not as just redness, but pustules (whiteheads).

Is it baby acne or something more? I'm trying to determine if my 5.5 week old daughter just has a bad case of baby acne or if it's something more then that. My other 2 never had much acne when they were little - they were both formula fed whereas this one is breastfed. I don't know if it makes a difference or not in this case. I haven't had any milk to drink in awhile, but I have had other sources of dairy. As for when it's the most red, that's typically when she's awake, it's the least red when she's sleeping. If it were a reaction to what I've eaten wouldn't it be all over her entire body?
